Turin events: from the 2021 Book Fair to autumn foliage, the unmissable seasonal events
The International Book Fair 2021, from 14 to 18 October 2021. The event will be held at the Lingotto Fiere, it will be the XXIII edition and will be entitled: Supernova life.

Great tennis with the ATP Finals and the Davis Cup
The PalaAlpitour will host from 14 to 21 November, and for the next 5 years, the prestigious ATP tournament and will also host the Davis Cup from 25 to 29 November 2021.
In fact, two of the six rounds of the competition will be held in the former Ice Palace. The first will see Italy with the USA and Colombia, the second Croatia, Austria and Hungary.
The winning teams of the two groups will compete in one of the quarter-finals, also scheduled in Piedmont.
The Turin design of the city it is enabling the city to continue its design journey and will continue until 30 October 2021. As part of the event there will be meetings, workshops, exhibitions, tours and events.
From the 27 31 October 2021 the city will host the first edition of VERY GOOD, the event that focuses on gastronomy, culture and creativity and will have as guests big names in Italian cuisine.
Turin events: exhibitions and art reviews
At the MAO Museum of Oriental Art until October 10th 2021 will host the exhibition “China Goes Urban. The new era of the city".
At the Colosseum Theater, until 31 October 2021, the exhibition on Banksy and Blu entitled “Street Art in Blu 3” with the works of Blu, Banksy, 3D (Robert del Naja) which will be at the center of an experience of multidisciplinary knowledge of the contemporary arts.
Then it will be time to Artissima – Turin International Exhibition of Contemporary Art in its twenty-eighth edition, scheduled from 5 to 7 November. It is the only event in Italy exclusively dedicated to contemporary art.
Until 31 December 2021, the Merz Foundation in Turin hosts the exhibition project "The tip of the pencil can overtake conscience", centered on the figures of Mario and Marisa Merz.
At the Castello di Rivoli, until 7 November 2021, it will be possible to visit the exhibition “Expressions. The proposition”, with works by over fifty artists from different historical periods, from various parts of the world.
The Sale Chiablese of the Royal Museums of Turin host the exhibition “Cipro. Crossroads of civilizations”, until 9 January 2022.
The Italian Cypriot collection has been enriched by loans from foreign institutions, including the British Museum in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, the Medelhavetmuseet in Stockholm, the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna and the of Cyprus in Nicosia.
At the GAM Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Turin the exhibition “Nature and Truth. The landscape as a choice 1861-1871”.
The exhibition focuses on the landscape between Piedmont and Liguria, and the so-called "School of the Future", that is, the circle of admirers and students of Antonio Fontanesi.
The Royal Palace of Venaria Reale until 1 November 2021 hosts the exhibition “An infinite beauty. Il Landscape in Italy from romantic painting to contemporary art”.
The review shows how Nature and the interest in the Landscape have been a source of inspiration for the pre-Romantic painters of the late eighteenth century up to the contemporary masters.
At the National Cinema Museum “PHOTOCALL. Actresses and actors of Italian cinema”, until 7 March 2022.
The exhibition, in collaboration with the University of Turin, pays homage to the cinema of yesterday and today: a photographic account of over a century of Italian cinema through the faces of the protagonists who made it famous all over the world.
From Friday 26 November to Saturday 4 December 2021, the "39th Turin Film Festival" will be held at the National Cinema Museum, which aims to be a meeting place for the new international cinema.
Throughout the month of October 2021, the Turin Planetarium – Museum of Astronomy and Space organizes two limited afternoon visits on Saturday and Sunday and an evening visit that takes place only on Saturday to discover the stars.
“Foliage 2021 at Oasi Zegna: walks and activities in the shades of autumn”.
The spectacle of nature is staged as usual and can be admired in this vast natural area by walkers for approximately 100 km2 on the Biella Alps reachable in an hour and a half from Turin and Milan.
And autumn still takes place on 9 and 10 – 16 and 17 – 23 and 24 October. OverAlp, in fact, organizes an experiential journey of about two hours at an altitude of 1300 meters, among birch, fir, beech and larch trees in the Bosco del Sorriso in Valsessera during three weekends in October. A unique opportunity to capture the enchantment of nature before the arrival of winter.
At MAUTO, until 9 January 2022, “Michelotti World: 1921-2021 One hundred years of a designer without borders”.
The personal exhibition dedicated to Giovanni Michelotti, one of the most admired stylists in the years ranging from the 50s to the 70s of the twentieth century. Sketches, technical drawings, layout plans, scale models and a selection of the most representative cars are on display to the public.
Palazzo Madama and the Diocesan Museum of Susa present the exhibition together “The European Renaissance of Antoine de Lonhy”, from 7 October 2021.
And Turin is ready to host too tourists who will arrive in the city for the seasonal food and wine events such as the International Alba White Truffle Fair 2021, in its 91st edition taking place from 9 October to 5 December 2021 in the municipality of Alba (Cuneo).
The prestigious event dedicated to the "Tuber magnatum Pico" is one of the most important events linked to the world of gastronomy not only in Piedmont but in Italy and the world.
A rich and varied entertainment offer for citizens and tourists
As is clear from the busy calendar of events starring lo sport, literature, design, art, the gastronomy and naturalistic attractions, the entertainment offer in the city is really rich, varied and of high quality.
The flow of visitors who will come to the city throughout the autumn until Christmas 2021 acclaimed by Turin events and who will see the city illuminated by artist lights and animated by craft markets, food and wine emotions and numerous cultural events it will therefore be constantly on the rise.
And in 2022, also thanks to the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, the weight of the city in Italian and international tourism will have a real surge.
